My husband hates my tattoos and hates that I keep getting them. But I love them so much. Not just because of the feeling it gives you either, but because of how it looks after and how your like expressing yourself through art on your body. It's just the coolest thing ever to me. He says that when I married him my body became half his so I should be able to stop. Is this true?

He should love you for you, tattoos and all!
I can understand him asking you to stop if it was something life threatening like a drinking habit. But tattoos are an expression of you. I assume that you had tattoos before you married him? If so, he shouldn't expect you to change.

Forgive me for what I am about to say but isn't it also true that many that get lots of tattoos are starving for some kind of attention and perhaps belonging somewhere they didn't before. Perhaps its a hint of rebel, excitement and the in ah impression it may leave on others that see this. Do any of your tattoos have family or friends or kids names on them? or some kind of art? I can perhaps see a butterfly, teddy bear or something small but to have them over a major percentage of an appendage seems a bit extreme. I would have to say talk to shrink, they maybe able to help with that need for this kind of attention your missing elsewhere.

These matters can occur to you whilst you're very confused or busy or depressed. Have you taken on plenty of labor in recent times? If you're below strain it is rather complex to maintain know-how. Sounds like matters we've all been via. Sometimes you believe you're the one one. Ever recollect having your mother so frazzled that she forgot your identify? Ever Forget methods to spell small phrases like "THE" after which while you spell it you seem at it and move... that can not be correct... it appears so bizarre! If you're Zoning out plenty might be you're annoying approximately anything rather then the undertaking to hand and it's making you no longer be attending wholly to paying awareness to what you're doing. Then you're going to fail to remember in which you place matters since you weren't quite Thinking approximately in which you had been placing it, however anything else all in combination. Sounds thoroughly normal for sleep deprivation too. any first time guardian will let you know they suppose like a strolling zombie once they need to keep up night time after night time with a brand new child.

your body is all yours, but you should care about how he looks at you since he is your husband. You could make a compromise with him saying that maybe you'll limit yourself to how many you get or where you get them. Or, maybe put them in places only you two agree on. But if he's going to divorce or leave you because of a silly tattoo, then he doesn't love the real you anyway.

well did he meet you with tattoos?? cause if he did, he kinda would have to accept his wife with tattoos. As for your body being half his, ummmm i think not. Its your body, he can express his likes and dislikes, but at the end of the day its if you want to humour him or not. I think a man leaving you over tattoos is pretty fickle don't you???

well you should come to a consensus. I mean... yes, it is your body, but maybe he doesn't find you attractive with your body covered in tattoos. tell him what you've written here, your opinion about tattoos as a form of art, and maybe he'll understand.
good luck!

Even when you married him, your body was entirely yours. He has no right to tell you what to look like. Ignore him. Do what makes you happy.
