There are certain mind-altering substances that I would try, but others I wouldn't. Its all a question of wether I think I'd enjoy it. Obviously, not having to worry about the negative impacts on health would make me much more likely to try things, and I can think of a few that I would definately consider. I wouldn't be tempted by ecstasy, speed or amphetamines, I just don't have the urge to stay awake and dance all night. I would try cocaine, as the effects don't last as long, and if I didn't like it I wouldn't have to put up with it for long. I wouldn't take LSD as I like to know what is real and what isn't - I wouldn't like to hallucinate. I would take heroin and cannabis, as they are more suited to my mood - a bit 'down'. I'd probably try any sort of tranquiliser - ketamine or similar. If there was no health risks, I'd probably habitually use some sort of benzo. Its all a question of balance - weighing up what you gain and what you loose.

I used to eat those weird little mushrooms with my carrots and man did they alter my mind..i seem to be a totally different person nowadays (worse)..now i take only drugs that i know i myself feel safe with and there would be no point taking a mind altering substance if it did not alter your mind... like a carrot

Very interesting question. There are such drugs that improve your wits and make you really feel good. Only total idiot or trully enlightened man would refuse them were they harmless.
Unfortunately, there is no such thing like harmless drug and will never be.
