Her mom married into the family and the cousin was from a previous relationship. So we are not blood related. And even though my family is against incest and such my own grandmother set me up with her somewhat.

But from an outside view is this a bad thing or is it ok?

Please dont be rude in your answers, I'm known for reporting them.

depends i believe, on if you grew up together or you are meeting this 2nd cousin by marriage once removed something like that when you are a grown adult...

I think your fine.... BUT i wouldnt go around letting ANYONE know that they could even be considered your cousin lol.
I would just forget about it totally.

and just from a girls perspective dont ever mention it at home if you plan on getting sex any time soon. TOTAL mood killer.

Here is what the law says, but you guys are not blood related it really doesn't matter. Here is what the state laws say. But if people know you are blood related they won't care. But it isn't really something that comes up in the matter of a cup of coffee does it?

I don't think it's a problem. I think it's worst when a guy and a girl fall in love and en up marrying each other, and then the father of the groom ends up with the mother of the bride or vice versa. Would that make the bride the step-daughter of her father-in-law? Has that even happened? Anyway, I personally don't see a problem with it. In the end, if you feel comfortable being with her in a relationship, then good, and if you don't, then don't.

What you are describing is not incest. If anyone has a problem with it, have them talk to a priest or a minister.

No problem dating your cousin, whom is not even actually one; even if it was, that wouldn't be considered an incestuous relationship. First cousins are even allowed to marry, the only limitation being that, for genetic reasons, they should not have kids.
