I've met her a week and a half ago. We still don't know each other too much, but perhaps she likes me (she's very nice to me). We're working together in the library this Wednesday (on St.Valentine's Day). Probably I could also just put some flowers in her backpack and leave. And the next day see the reaction and ask/don't ask her out. Absurd? I should do it personally? I shouldn't do it at all? Please, help!!

Trust me, do it personally. That way, you will know immediately how she feels about you, or even if she feels anything at all. Plus she'll appreciate you being bold and up front. And if it doesn't turn out the way you want, don't let that stop you or slow you down. Remember, they outnumber us by a whole bunch, so your bound to find someone for valentines day. Who knows, maybe longer!

why not just hand her the flowers yourself
she wont know that its from you if you dont lol
be romantic about it too
say like
"your as beautiful as a rose." and then hand her the rose or something and then ask her out.
just be romantic
maybe even play some sweet romantic music and dim the lights
after all it is Valentines Day
and seeing that I'm a girl
I wouldnt be able to resist saying yes

It will be a very nice jester of you to buy her flowers and ask her out on St.Valentines Day.That is very romantic.I had someone give me a dozen of roses on our first date.I think that which every way you want to ask her out is okay.Go and ask her on St.Valentines Day.

Rogalik, From experience you should do it personally. Im a girl and flowers are a good way to tell a girl that you are interested in her. Take a deep breathe, relax and take the chance.

Dude, if you really like her, just give her one pink rose and say "I think you are really cute and had to give this to you". And let her say something like oh that is so sweet of you. Then you leave and see if she make the move the next day. This will give her time to think about what you have done. Don't be like "did you like my flowers"? Just play it cool

Heck go for it but make it seem like you're just making an offer cause your interested but not expecting too much. At least she'll respect you for having the gonads to do it. She wouldnt be mad unless it seems like you are expecting her to instantly fall for you just over a bunch of flowers.

I think you should do it personally! That would be sweet! You will know right away if she isn't into you but for the most part, most women LOVE to get flowers on VDAY!

I wouldn't bother with the flowers. If she doesn't like you that way, she will feel uncomfortable. Since she is nice to you, she will pretend like she loves them whether she likes you or not.
