Yes. I did. My immediate family not only professed to be atheists, but actively fought against any spiritual education. They still do. I, however, knew from a very young age that there was something bigger and better out there. I searched for it and found it. When I embraced it at age 13, my father beat me severely and threw me into the street. Christians, in my area, made aware of my plight, rescued me though I was not of there particular faith. Draw your own conclusions as to who the evil one was.

Yes as a matter of fact I did. Although my home was of an atheist view when I was growing up we still often visited family members who practiced one or another faith. I chose to believe in God very young and it wasn't until I was adult and on my own that I understood what that meant and truly chose to change my life completely. My family, by large, has accepted my path and actually I feel their tolerance has opened a place in their hearts for a change as well =)

My parents didn't really teach me much about god when I was a child. I was taught about being a Jehovah Witness by my grandparents after I was eight. Both times of my life I felt there was a superior being out there watching me but I didn't think about it as a religious thing. I guess I was too young to comprehend…

I was the opposite. All Grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc all went to church. Dad use to force and drag me to church against my will. I use to stand around and debunk anyone who came at me with religion. I would stand on my knowledge of the Shroud of Turin, my mathematical background and my engineering knowledge.

Well God had fun with me in my late 20's.....he crushed everything I could ever think of or say and showed me the truth of it all. Today I am a 100% believer and am now one of his soldiers, I am in the fight!

My mom was into the "new" age movement. I never did buy into it. I just knew reincarnation was not the truth. I also felt God. I just knew he was, not sure why. I did go to sunday school as a small child in a mainstream protestant religion. But not for long.

I hope you still believe in God! My dad is Non-Denominational, but My mom is catholic. She might as well not be, because she really dosen't care about her faith much. I have recently discovered mine, all because of my friends. So in a way, I have.

I had a sort of vague belief in God but it didn't come any where near being religious in nature.
