Because it's not that vital or relevant to their belief in God?

I don't. I actually have carefully examined the evidence for and against it. You may be being influenced by biased articles that subtly telling you what IS when really there is very little scientific evidence for it. The nature of the debate is really that one can not be proven over the other, not with true scientific method at least. I think scientists have done a good job of proving the process of natural selection. But there is more evidence that it has limits, than that it is responsible for every species the world. Plus it is severely lacking evidence in regards to the formation of life itself, as well as the reason why physical laws did not exist during the Big Bang. I don't consider myself a nut, and I don't consider people who disagree with me a nut either. I do not fool myself into thinking I can prove evolution is false, and it is wrong for you to assume that you can prove it is correct. It comes down to a choice of what you want to believe is the purpose for your existence.

Because they are religious nuts?! maybe?

lol @ evolution nuts by the way...

I think you mean SCIENCE based in EVIDENCE "nuts"......that 99.9% of the ENTIRE credible scientific community agrees is the most REASONABLE explanation of the origins of life on earth.

Theres really no evidence. The Big Bang is a theory. There are fossils but is speculation to assume we evolved We see no evidence of macro evolution. There are no missing links. Bacteria adapts. D

i am a christain i am not a nut . i belive fully that evolution took place and is still going on.
i do think god made heaven and earth in 6 days.
i also think its stupid to try and understand time as god relates to it . for him who was before all things and will be after all things a day could be any amount of time . so its really pretty simple.

because most of the evidence that biologists have for science has found to have been self made or either it is false. Quit pretending to know what you're talking about and give us some real evidence......

I think it's because it's (incorrectly) percieved by some people as clashing with the genesis account of creation, and therefore must be wrong.
