I do not want to join the gym, I have a lot of sedentary work, and have thought that maybe a diet pill would get me started. Have you seen results with any one pill in particular? I like to walk my dog for exercise, but have been bogged down with a lot of work lately. I have never taken a diet pill, but think it might give me a boost to drop a few quick pounds for my jean's sake.

A pill may cut your appetite slightly but it will not make you magically lose 5 lbs.
Make a commitment to do some aerobic exercise everyday no matter what even if it is just 20 minutes in the morning and evening and you will see better results.

I wouldn't take a diet pill if I were you. I've never head of a case they DID work, unless all they lost was water weight. Just start eating healthier. You're probably overweight because you're stressed with your job and have been eating quick things on the go without thinking about it. Cut down on junk and fastfood (if you're eating any) and walk everyday for 20 minutes. If you skip a day, don't stress. Just try to catch up over the weekends. Also, to lose weight quicker, gain muscle. This will allow calories to burn faster, more efficently.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

A diet pill will not do anything for you. Walking your dog is not sufficient exercise to lose weight or even maintain it apparently, since you're gaining. In order to lose weight, you need to count calories and get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes a day 5 times a week.

Please if you value yourself at all, DO NOT use diet pills unless they are PRESCRIBED (not just recommended) by a doctor. Just eat a couple hundred fewer calories/day (try an apple instead of a donut in the morning, for example) and go for an additional 10 minute walk every day or every other day. If you don't need to lose a lot of weight that's all you need to know. Diet pills aren't tested by the FDA and are potentially very dangerous---there's no way to know. Remember Fen-fen?

Diet pills dont work. You need to do cardio. Run outside or buy a tredmill or elliptical.

You should get yourself the free Science of Fat DVD. It will show you how the brain and body regulate weight and why some people are hefty while others are lean.
