To get in the industry quick just die. JUST kidding. U have to have a 2 year degree. I suggest that U call a local JR. college to find out what courses would have to be taken. I know sience Ur going to take a lot of, some med classes & anatomy. Good luck if this is what u want to do. Not what I would like but U won't get any back talk from clients. Best of luck to ya.

The schooling is generally 12-18 months continuously, depending on how much college education you already have. After you have completed mortuary school, you will serve an internship and then become licensed. You would have to send out resumes to prosepective funeral homes in search of a job. www.funeralnet.com has listings of funeral homes looking for employees. Good luck!
