Yes, I had a set on an 87 Monte Carlo. They wore well and were quiet. By now tread patterns have changed & I'm sure they've been improved. There a better choice for the same money. Take a look at tireack.com. Check out The Yokohama TRZ tires. 80,000 miles, better than average in snow, quiet, very resistant to hydroplaneing. Every brand they cary are tested & when you lookat a specific tire look at " test". There Are a dozen things they test for. I'vr been buying for 22 yrs. No sales tax. Shipping about $5.00 per tire.

Yes they are suppose to be decent tires but most tires today fit into two formula's, high grade tires or low grade low mile budget tires. There are perhaps only about a half dozen tire makers out there and many names put on at the manufacturer. Find a tire dealer that offers a decent warranty and reasonable mileage like 70.000 miles verses 35.000 mile warranty. There again it all depends upon your budget.

Since the fiasco of Firestone tires that caused SUV roll-overs most tire companies came under heavy scrutiny and have somewhat got their act together.

Might I suggest a self sealing tire like Uniroyal Nailguard tire. Another factoid. Michelin tire company are one of the few companies left that still use more rubber in their tires.
