Try clinical vignettes, those are good. Everyone uses First aide. there are also some other review books, but they are hit or miss. good luck.

I think the books that have been suggested are great, especially First Aid. However, I think the overall best thing you can do is practice questions, and the more practice questions. I recommend Kaplan for this, they are the most current, biggest test bank available. And use incorrect answers to learn the most, pinpoint the facts you did not know about the question and use your other resource books to clarify and commit the information.

I studied as a purest at the recommendation of my professors for Step 1, using Robbins & my other textbooks - in retrospect not the best decision. For Step 2, I studied as above at the recommendation of my husband who had done extremely well on Step 1 & I increased my score by 50+ points - not bad for a mediocre med student.

you can study from the book you like....i mean there are so many books to choose from and none of them is standard....most refered books are first aid, BRS series, PRETEST, Crush the boards....best would be to choose the book that suits you....you can have a look at the books on "USMLE BOOKS" page of the following website and it is even convinient to buy it from here.
