You get nothing if you dont' make the cut

If a player does not make the halfway cut, in most tournaments you recieve no pay so taking into account your expenses for travel, accommodation, caddy, entry fee, etc. then that player will actually lose money. An average tournament expense on the European tour would be aboot 1,500 Euros

I believe it may even be a "negative" amount since even professional tournaments actually have an "entry fee". If you take the entry fee into consideration and the player doesn't make the cut, I guess it would be considered that he "paid to play". Of course his sponsors typically pick up the tab for the fee but still...

It all depends on the tournament. If you miss the cut going into the weekend you make $0. If you make the cut then it goes by the size of the purse for that tournament.

You don't just get paid in golf, you need to do good in tournaments to earn money.

To really answer this question it is about -2,000 to -10,000
first of all u have to make the cut. and second of all of the pros's pay entry fee's to enter these tournaments.. unless u get Sponsors exemptions
