My son is 7, we have shaved his head a couple of times- it is great for the summer, and he likes it. We did it most recently at Haloween, he was Aang- the Avatar from Nickelodeon. He needed to be bald so we used the clippers and shaved him as close to the skin as possible. Was cute. It is just another style- and the positive, if you don't like it it will grow back fast!

Not at all...my mom shaved my head when I was a baby...and my hair grew more beautiful and stronger...Should not damage him at all. Just be careful so you don't cut him off...

No, he's old enough. Just be aware, every time you shave the head, the hair will come back thicker.
