i was up all night throwing up. but here's the thing- i didn't feel nausiated. food and stomach acid just kept coming up. I feel like there is this huge wooden block lodged in my esophagus, there is all this pressure and sharp pains. eating and drinking makes the pain and pressure worse. is it gas? is it some kind of acid reflux? this happened to me last spring but i didn't puke. oh, and i can breathe fine. that isn't the problem. and i tried taking mylanta and i puked it up. hot tea doesn't help, or water. i don't feel achey or have head pains. no high temperature.
any doctors/nurses/emt's/med students out there?

The operative word here is that you have no fever, so we can rule out infection. Go and see a gastro-enterologist who will recommend either an endoscopic examination of your upper digestive tract or a tomography. There is no sense in my telling you what it could be. Just let me tell you that is doesn't have to be something serious but that you cannot leave it untreated. All the best.
