Quit basing your self worth on having a signifcant other and get over yourself.

Get a hobby, volunteer at a homeless shelter, work on a project, etc.

Valentines is a stupid day set up by shop keepers to make money. Because let's face it, when you love someone you should show them everyday, not once a year with crap you don't really need.

HEYYYYY celebrate your singleness, the minute you are married you will moan for the rest of your life. " I don't know why i ever got married, what again, why do you spend so much money etc etc". Enjoy your life and if you are lonely there are lots of ways not to feel lonely. Join bus-groups, walk the streets with them and look at haunted houses or something, watch movies. Don't get tied up just because you are lonely ok.:))) Anyway i am sure there are single people here who will send you a valentines message, i will as well, have a lovely Valentine's day, scoff the chocolates yourself , you don't have to share your last rollo with anyone.:))) Take care.

All right, babe, here's some tough love from Rio: Stop complaining. There's nothing wrong with being single, even on Valentine's Day. You don't need a relationship. Nobody does. And V-Day is too commercial to be taken seriously. Now grow up.

Here is what you need to do. Watch Lifetime- one of those movies about a woman who is in an abusive home and her hubby is ready to kill her. Then be happy that you aren't married to him.

Send yourself flowers at work. Put on the card that they are from someone special. It will make all the married women at work Jealous that their hubbies did not send them anything, but you got flowers from your secret admirer.

Or- you could print off pictures of all the men who ever hurt you. Tape them to the wall and use them as dart boards. Order Pizza, if the delivery driver is a man- then give him the evil eye and tip him in all change. Then get lots of chocolate ice cream and a good movie about some guy who got what was coming to him and sit in your pajamas, eating pizza and ice cream, and throwing darts at the men who did you wrong. It might be more fun if you have single, uninvolved girlfriends to invite over to have a pity party with you.

Oh dear baby, don't feel like that. You need to get out there and strut your stuff! Being single isn't fun so you have to get up and get out there! It's valentine's day...all the single people will be out there feeling the same way, go and meet them.
Good luck!
