Before my dad goes to work me mom packs a big lunch for my dad, and when he comes home dinner is already made, he washes up and sits at the table and starts getting a lot of food, and I tried asking him why, but he does not know either.

Assuming two fit people in a relationship, the man naturally has more muscle than a woman as well as a higher muscle percentage than a woman. This muscle needs to be fed more. It has nothing to do with being a pig or selfish, it has only to do with must. We simply must eat more to maintain our body weight than an equally fit woman.

Eating too much is not at all abig problem, until the consumed food is healthy.Ur dad might be a hard worker who toils everyday nowonder he needs good food which fills his stomach and also makes his battery charged for the next day's work

men need more calories than women, mostly because they are bigger. my husband eats double what i do, yet is in shape. if i ate that much i would be a house.
maybe your dad has a physical labor job? is he overweight? these could also make a difference
