Nothing can be done to revere global warming. Everyone can try to cut down on pollution though.
We got rid of our 2nd car a number of years ago, I take mass transit to and from work now. We also use the fluorescent bulbs because they last so long. We haven't used the heat or A/C since we moved to San Diego.

I really don't feel global warming is a problem. I think it is a natural process and the world has gone through this type of period seven times before. There has been seven ice ages and each has melted and then reformed. That's how the great lakes were formed as well as many other inland fresh lakes. I do believe pollution is a problem and people should cut back on resources as much as possible. I myself try to conserve. I recycle as much as possible, save gas, water, electricity. But I don't believe it contributes to global warming.

I think man-made global warming is false science. However, I do believe in living gently on the earth, and I do hate enriching regimes that hate us by using a lot of gasoline.
Here is what I have done: put bubble wrap on my windowglass to reduce heat loss, I drive an economy car and use ethanol blend fuel, my next car will be electric, I harvest rainwater to use for my lawn and garden, I am looking into retrofitting my existing home to take advantage of solar heat, and buying used items whenever possible and putting them to use rather than buying new, and I plant trees.

What ever they debate about the global warming, it is evident that over the past decade the summers are warmer. So, I think it is for real and bound to affect all of us.
And as for the measures to reduce CO2, we installed solar water heating equipment for all our bathing needs to cut down the heater and thereby the electric power coming from fossil fuels. Above that we have a system to recharge the ground water table from the rain water. All the rain water get absorbed in to the soil to keep the ground water table recharged. So, our water wells never dry out and takes less power to take out the water for other daily needs. I hope that answered your question. Thanks.

I suggest the President to Nuke Iran Russia and China......
Since people say global warming is caused by man, the only way to stop global warming in the long run is to get rid of a few billion people.
Nuking them will also fix the short term by causing a nuclear winter.
You may laugh at this but it is the only real answer. So if you want to fix the problem we better do it before they do it to us.

Energy Star appliances and Lightbulbs. We are going to look into getting solar panels installed for the home. In a couple years when we have the money, switch to an ethanol (sp?) feuled car.

Instead of burning down forest land in West which increases greenhouse gasses, couldn't we select cut the dangerous trees and grind them up into mulch for use in building materials or fuels at a later date?
