such a close friend that it's weird to even fathom ever telling her how I really feel. Somedays it seems she could care less sometimes I think,... maybe....Or is it me wanting to see what I want to see??? It's crazy because it's all I've been thinking about lately and I think it's making me insane. What is a sign that maybe she feels the same way???

I had (key word being had) a best friend for years... we went to school together, spent lots of time with each other, both of us liked each other (all of our other friends would tell us... sometimes you just can tell) but we never dated because we thought it would ruin our friendship. To make a long story short... after a few years I moved, then he moved, we still talked to each other but we grew apart and eventually lost touch.
I didn't really think much of it at the time. The crazy thing is that years later, my mom was moving out of her house and I was helping her pack... I stumbled across this box full of letters. I started reading them... they were love letters my best friend had sent me in which he told me how he felt.
When I confronted my mother, she said she never gave them to me because she wanted me to start a "new life" after we moved and that it really didn't matter because we were "just teenagers."
By the time I knew, I guess it was too late... I was married to someone else, with a baby on the way.
Then it hit me! No wonder we grew apart... He thought I just dodged the question or didn't talk about it because I didn't feel the same way! I never got a chance to explain... now all I can do is wonder "what if..."

Don't feel bad, alot of guys like to flirt just for the hell of it. It's fun. Next time, just call him out on it to see if he is serious. Tell him "you're all talk" and see what the response is. If he is just a flirt, he will tell you, "yeah, I'm just messin with you" if he's not then you're in business. Girls do the same thing. Again, don't take it personally, feel flattered that at least he was flirting with you

Do you two spend a lot of time together? Do you speak to each other every day? How does she treat you when your together? Answer these questions and you'll know... If not just tell her how you feel... You might be surprised to find out she feels the same way.

Go for it!
I dated my best friend for over two years and the only reason it didn't work out was because i relocated.
Just tell her how you feel and then you can find out if she feels the same way.
If she doesn't...don't let it ruin your friendship, her feelings may change over time.

i know were ur coming from,i had the same problem,i blew it,i should have told her about how i felt..i didnt,and she started seeing a guy..to make a story short,she went her own way,and i didnt,till this day i miss her alot,,so if i were u go for it..gl

just go for if and lay your feelings on the table to her. if the feelings are mutual great, if not and she is the friend u think she is she will help you work through this awkard moment in your friendship
