YES it is in the language of the contract, however,if you were in the Inactive Reserves that would be a different matter. Write a notarized letter to the proper branch of the US Military to ensure that you are following procedure. The punishment you WILL get is perfectly legal and this should HAD applied to George Walker Bush for being a coward. His sycophants logic: His unit was not slatted for Vietnam! My reply: George Herbert Walker Bush VOLUNTEERED AND DID NOT HAVE TO GO SINCE HE HAD CONNECTIONS AT ALL LEVELS. George Herbert Walker Bush is a man of CONVICTION and WILL SACRIFICE HIS LIFE TO UPHOLD THE US CONSTITUTION AND HE PROVED IT WITHOUT HESITATION: US NAVAL AVIATOR OF A Grumman TBM Avenger aircraft from VT-51 belonging to Task Force 58 of the 3rd and/ 5th Fleet depending on the regional location of its HQ.

No, if you completed your Active Duty contract, and it included your G.I.Bill, then the reserves can not take it away..... UNLESS you commit a crime or other offense. If your Reserve Unit is threatening to take it away, ask why/how they would do that, then call the IG and VA to check on your unit's reasons. If you are going IRR from Active Reserve, I believe you have to fill out a form or two with your Admin Dept.
