I am a Christian, and I see so many things in the Bible that have come to pass. I think Jesus is coming back soon. I would like to know what if anything does the US represent in the Bible...are we in the Bible?

I think we are very close myself, but there is nothing in scripture about the United States.

However, that being said, we have been the protectors of Europe and Israel, and when the church raptures out of this world for seven years, they will have no protector.

In case of the rapture, will Nancy Palosi become president?

I am curious where in the Bible it says the most powerful nation will die first.

Yes probably the anti-christ GWB (some leader's initials, I presume). No Jesus isn't coming back soon because the Revelations was written almost 2 thousand years ago and it should not be taken literally. I've watched the Left Behind series btw, and the actor from "Growing Pains", Kirk Cameron, was the protagonist, and the movie was a hoot. People started disappearing from airplanes and houses: everywhere, and only their clothes remained. It was like some sci-fi movie with the anti-christ being a very good looking male actor, and something about the mark of the beast and controlling the world rations LOL!!!

There is only one reference which I think might be America (and in particular New York or Hollywood), although it doesn't use that name and some of the characteristics mentioned don't add up, and that is the reference to Babylon in Revelations Chapter 18.
Other than that, I don't know of any reference. All I can conclude is America suffered a terrible disaster and was of no military consequence in the end times.

What's scary is that in the Bible it says that the most powerful nation in the world will die first. The most powerful nation in the world is also the most corrupt...

Yes, this sounds like the United States. BUT, China is emerging as a world power and they're pretty bad too. Chinese people used to greet each other by saying "have you eaten yet?" but now they say "have you divorced yet?" eek. And from a Christian point of view, well, the US is somewhat Christian oriented. China is primarily Buddhist and Atheist and they persecute Christians.

So...who knows. People during WWII thought the it was the end of the world..but I am starting to see more and more things occur.

I do not agree with you that Jesus is coming back ! Why should He ? To repeat the revolting way He was treated ? Why should the US be in the Bible and then, do you mean the Pentateuch or the Gospel ? The five books of the Old Testament represent a history of Theism and not of soothsaying !Having said this, we are indeed living the Judgment, which is not an event but a process of self-destruction.

Here's some things that have come to pass before Jesus' return;
Israel has become a nation again in their homeland given them by God.
More natural weather catastrophes.
We have had Antichrist(s) there are many. The last one will deny Jesus is God's son so look for that.
Our communications in this world has increased so much we can see what's happening around the world with in seconds!
Has the Gospel been preached to the entire world yet...?
I don't know about America being in the bible. I think it isn't. Why would it be? Watch China...

As a matter of fact, every time you read "children of Israel" - Ten of the tribes went North over the caucus mountains, settled Europe, and eventually the USA and Canada.
They are known as "caucasions", because of that trip over the mountains. Judah and benjamin remained, and also the Levites - the Priestline. All others migrated North. God said they would be as numerous as the sand of the sea, or the stars in the sky, and they are.
Most don't even know who they are, but the free Christian Nations of this world basically are made up of them.
These nations are blessed of God - I mean esspecially blessed - you just need to look around to see thats true. And its no accident.
People think when they read about "Israel" in Scripture, that its talking about the Israel Country in the Mid East. Its not. When the Bible talks about "Judah" or "Jerusalem" thats when you know He's speaking of that part of the middle east. Normally when it speaks of "Ephriam", which was the largest of the ten tribes, it is speaking to all of the tribes as a whole. Thats what the massorah (footnotes to the orig manuscripts) says.

STOP STOP STOP - TO THE GUY WHO GIVES THE LINK FOR THE END TIMES VIDEO - THE RAPTURE IS NOT BIBLICAL.
I AM A STUDENT OF THE MANUSCRIPTS AND ALL BIBLE LANGUAGES TIMES 35 YEARS NOW --- STOP SHOWING THAT GARBAGE. ITS GOING TO DECEIVE THE MASS MAJORITY OF CHRISTIANS IN THESE END TIMES. DO NOT PARTAKE IN THAT.

Ezekiel 38:13 mentions Tarshish and all her young lions. There are some scholars of Bible prophecy that think America is one of the "young lions". However, the notable lack of interpretive reference to America leads some Bible scholars to speculate a decline in America's power and importance by the time prophetic happenings reach a climax.

It really will not make any difference where you live on this planet, when Christ our lord and saviour returns, there will be millions & millions of people that will parish from Gods wrath, we all and I mean every human being on this planet will have one choice to make, repent and ask for mercy from our compasianate and loving father, for being a part of this repulsive, demoralised, and wicked society that we all live in, it is time mankind prepares himself for the coming of our lord, praise our lord God that he may have mercy on all of our souls for we have surly sinned against him. Blessed be God for ever amen!

Yes we're living in the last days. As for the US in the Bible, I don't think so, but there are some people who believe that the eagle referred to in Revelation is the US.

You may want to read the Left Behind series, it gives a pretty good guess as to what may happen after the rapture.
