Well,in this case I recommend books .My major is teaching Arabic as a foreign language .If you would like to know some books' names, you can contact me at my e-mail " emmyeg_us@hotmail.com " and I'll send you some useful materials.I think from your name that you Muslim!! me too I'm Muslim.
for now try these sites:

"for pronunciation"
http://mec.sas.upenn.edu/marhaba/lesson_...
http://i-cias.com/babel/arabic/index.htm... (this one with audio option)
"for writing"
http://afl.ajeeb.com/freetour/menu/menu....
But to be honest with you you'd better practice it with native speakers as much as possible to get the dialect.

Good luck

Frankly speaking, I've been studying Arabic for approximately two years in high school and things didn't went so well ~ I only passed it twice! I suppose you're Muslim (yeah, me too!) therefore the it's much easier to master it! I've some tips for you (provided by our teacher) to consider as one of the best tips...

1) Recite Koran regularly. That helps ~ particularly right after you performed solah. It's really good for improving your memory and health.

2) Bring along your dictionary everytime you want to go anywhere ~ wherever possible. I'm sure you know why I suggest this.

3) Watch Arabic TV channels. Gradually, your understanding will be much better than before... Besides, you'll know the differences between one dialect with another. Arabic language is more than meets the eye -- it also consists of many dialects and even accents!

4) Listen to the Arabic music -- I've been listening to numerous songs, but can barely remember who the singers were. Can't be bothered -- as long as the music suits my preferences, that should be okay then... simply to say, I love universal music!

5) Pray ~ it really helps and works!

P/S: You should feel grateful to have an opportunity learning this language -- which was one of my biggest regrets in the high school! I didn't enjoy it I suppose... Well, it is far harder to master the language compare to English language, but it'll be slightly easy if you study it with passion and determination!

Good Luck! ~

my mom is arabic so i have really been trying to learn the language lately so it doesn't get lost in my family. what has helped me is listening to a lot of arabic music and i got a translation dictionary. i was thinking about getting rosetta stone, but i have never heard an actual person say it works. as for writing and reading, i would try to get speaking down first, writing is a whole other level.
