It seems like a lot of the questions asked here are posted by students looking for a shortcut to actual research. I'm not saying that you shouldn't use any tool available, but many of the questions asked could be answered by a quick Google search or (God forbid) reading a book.

Yep. Same thing (if not worse) in the Science and Math sections. I don't answer questions in there if it sounds like it came off a problem sheet. Hell, they don't even bother taking out the problem numbers when they post it, or just post something like 'find the angle' without any other information. Honestly, if you can't even determine what information is pertinent to the problem, why do you think you deserve to pass the class?
