Ok...so I met this guy who helped me get through some rough times in my life...we got really close then all of a sudden he is not ready for a relationship, but when he is, it is gonna be me. Now, he has found someone else and I am left with all these feelings. I don't wanna feel them, but I just turn them off, what do I do???

Don't try to shut off the feelings...why for? You're going to feel them anyway. Give yourself a set amount of time each day to allow yourself to feel what you need to feel about this guy. Maybe 30 minutes day one....28 minutes day two or whatever ... until eventually it's no more. It will get better :) Remember the last guy you were gaga over and you thought it wouldn't feel better, and now you probably have to take time to think who that guy even was. Give it time, ignoring it will only make you think of it more

You don't turn them off you must be able to feel them to be healthy, that is why they call it a CRUSH!
You let it go by moving on to a new life and learning that as you feel it and can do other thing at the same time, that it won't kill you and it makes you stronger to have been though being hurt. Not better, but stronger.
Life is like that somehow, that which does not kill us makes us stronger. I can only hope that you move on and I am sorry that you are hurt, but I think that in the long run you will be better off for the experience!

if he has found someone else, the best thing to do is try to not hang out with him so much, so you dont get hurt. it seems to me the only way to completely get over someone is if you stop talking to them and find someone new. it might be hard to do but thats the only way it works for me sometimes.
