Airlines usually have aweight limit of about 7 kg and size limitations for hand luggage - get details of this from your carrier.

I did and i am going to do it again. Strange that they allowed me to take glass on the plane but nevermaaind. I just packed it well and it was not damaged one bit. Take care .:))

I would _properly_ pack mine, heavily insure it, and ship it as freight.
too much commotion with carry-on baggage these days.
