Romans 9,10, and 11 speak mainly of Paul's desire to see all of Israel saved. The question of God's sovereignty versus man's free will is an age-old question that smarter men than we have been debating. If you are truly a committed Christian, the question is academic at best.

I really hope you read this and explain further exactly what you have trouble with; The Book of Romans, if you read the first few verses, will tell you who it is written to - Gods election, who do not have free will. They are the only group who come into the flesh, but who do not have it. All others have free will.
So what do you really want to know?
NOTE TO "PALOMNIK"- YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE BOOK OF ROMANS SAYS OR YOU WOULDN'T HAVE MADE A STUPID COMMENT LIKE THAT.
Do you know the original manuscripts and the Bible languages required to translate properly?
I have to bet not.

Romans 9 is talking about contries and peoples, not individuals. Why dis isreal get the good news first, and if they did why are we still held accountable before Christ.
On an individual level all can come to Christ it's a free gift.

It doesn't. Free will is a concept that was spawned from the Enlightenment's influence on Christianity and taken hold by Arminianism to the "Decision Theology" that we have today.

I do not affirm a belief in "Free Will."

It is no secret Christ was planned before the foundation of the world. of course mans salvation is predetermined has nothing to do wit your free will without the atonement your free will is meaningless as you have no choice but death. It is because of the atonement that your choice does matter. the only thing that pertains to free will is you choice to accept the truth or follow a lie
God's plan for his people is preordained your individual life is not spoken of as preordained. God planned for Christ to atone for sin is preordained and his plan of salvation is preordained but a persons individual life it does not say this is preordained.

The idea that God Chooses you and saves you is all through out the Bible. not just Paul, but peter and John also write about it. ie. 1 peter 1

It doesn't. Paul let himself get carried away by his rhetoric. Only Calvinists interpret Romans 9 consistently... at the cost of doing violence to other scriptures, emphasized by Arminians, which clearly teach freewill.

Basically, the Bible here, as in countless other areas, contradicts itself.
