I think a Frenchman speaking French is really rather sexy ;-)
Unfortunately most Frenchman I've met are so unbelievably egotistical and arrogant that they put me right off.

As a matter of fact...How can I say that... I'm a French woman and I didn't notice that at all, but anyway, Thank you for the "hot and sexy part"
To my opinion, it's a question of culture: In our families(I mean the good ones) we teach our girls to be sweet and patient with men and to make sure that you'll not hurt anybody saying this or that in an aggressive way.
Men are different in France, they have to prove to everybody that they know all about everything, above all compared to woman, so they speak faster, louder and in a severe way hardly opening their mouth. It clearly makes them look gay (I think they just don't know how to act now cause they lost a lot of privileges in our society)

It's because you're attracted to woman. If you were a woman (and I'm assuming you're not) you'd probably thing French Guys sound sexy. France, Italy, and other countries, are associated with romance. So maybe you think romantic thoughts when you hear a girl speak French. It is one of the "romance languages"

The French accent is soft and lispy and it sounds cute on a woman. On a man, it seems effemininate. The same goes for Farsi.

i think it's because many words in the french language are feminine, and you expect most male romance language speakers to use masculine words, so it sounds weird when males with their male voices say femine words.

To a male, when a woman speaks anything, it more interesting and possibly exciting than listening to a man. But on the order of significance of utterance, the male carries off all awards.
Dozens of studies show that a much higher percentage of female speech than of male speech is purposeless and without much if any significance. Male speech is more often directed at problem solving, while female speech is directed at problem discussion.
In any case, French women, in whatever language, need to be told to wash their hair and change their underware. It's no accident that so much perfume is used in that country.
