I think that the most unique are Jesus teachings that, if followed, would eradicate most of the pain and suffering in this world.

Matthew 5-7
"Don't take revenge"
"Love your enemies" - The end of wars, racial strife, etc..
"Forgive men when they sin against you"
"Don't be angry with your brother" - personal conflict
"Don't divorce your wife" - broken families and hurt children
Mat. 19
"Sell all you have and give to the poor" - World hunger, medical, orphans, widows

It is like God came down and gave us a prescription for the ills of this world.
What is so uncanny about it, is how it strikes right at the heart of the problems of man; hate, revenge, selfishness, lust and greed. And how those characteristics hurt everyone we interact with.
