Pull down your bottom eyelid and look up. Set your contact right under your iris and kind of slide it up. Try this method until you are comfortable enough just to pop them right it. Also, make sure that the contact isn't inside out.
You be able to get it eventually. When I first got contacts, my mom had to put them in for me!

When I first got contacts, I had problems getting them in, but I didn't get dizzy. I think that you should talk to your optometrist about the dizziness. I also know that it will take a while for your eyes to get use to the contacts. What I use to do was focus on something else in the mirror and hold my eye open and not watch my finger going into my eye. I hope that helps.

Yes, do go back to the ophthalmologist. They should have worked with you and shown you how to insert and remove them and made sure you were able to.

Also, you're actually supposed to work up to wearing them 8 hrs each day. The first couple days you're supposed to wear them for 2 hrs, then go up to 4, etc until you hit 8. If they prescribed you stronger prescriptions for the contacts, you're probably just dizzy because your brain & optical nerves aren't used to the new stronger contacts, so it will take a bit getting used to (along with the feeling of them being in your eye).

You need to go back to the eye doc where you got them. They should not have let you out of the office if you could not put them in well and take them out well. Also you should not be dizzy. Go back and get help for all of this ASAP.
