Stick to brands of Sony, Fugi, Canon and Nikon. 4 and 5 megapixels would be sufficient for most people. Explore this Website, go back 2, 3 days and you'll find plenty of cameras to choose from. No need to spend big bucks on a camera for occasional use.

A 2 megapixel digital camera will continually be fairly blurry while the size of the image exceeds an exceedingly small video demonstrate. there is no genuine way of changing this as you won't be able to replace the sensor on your MP3 participant. The megapixels are what proportion dots of shade your digital camera can come across and shop. the less megapixels the less archives it fairly is saved and for this reason the image would seem blurry or grainy. If the image is blurry and grainy then the megapixels are your subject. no count if that's basically blurry then it might desire to be all the way down to a bad high quality lens as this determines the sharpness of the image. returned there is no thank you to advance this different than to circulate with a respectable kind of digital camera.

In my digital camera searching, I've read that a good number to have is around 6 megapixels. Any higher, and it will take more memory card space. Plus, if the camera already has a 3x or 4x optical zoom on it, you will not need a high megapixel count for your pictures to turn out well.

try to buy a camera from nikon, canon, fujifilm and olympus. the likes of sony and samsung really have no reputation in this field of electronics and kodak have such a large reputation that they can sometimes lose quality with cheap cameras without anyone noticing. for most people for home use etc. a 5 megapixel camera is more than enough below are examples of camers a reccomend.

i would try kodak digital cameras they have good quality. although i have a fuji film A500, thats pretty good also it is a 5.1 megapixel. and the quality is also great. you could also go into a store and look at them personally, take pictures and see the results on the camera. dont get a polaroid though they are not good.

Best right now without emptying the bank) is probably the Canon 30d DSLR.
8 mp, on a large sensor give very clear crisp pixel capture. Low noise, etc.
Check dpreview.com for an easy to use site giving reviews, samples, costs, pros, and cons.

To start out....there is a differences between 4-10....but it won't matter if you are only printing 4x6 through 7x11 pic
For beginner: I recommend something around a 4-6....for those enthusiast...I recommend 6and up....
Next...names that counts when it comes to picture quality even for professionals are Canon, Nikon....used widely through field...
If you are going compact I recommend the Canon and Nikon
Here's my list from best to second to none
Budget: 250-600
1. SD series 450 and up...try not to hit the 600dollars lvl...as you can go better from there....
www.usa.canon.com/
Nikon:
These cameras are actually getting very trendy...and actually very hot....
1. S9
2. Coolpix S10
P.S. Truly I tell...all you need is 400 dollars and go to your nearest buybest store.....and snatch up a canon sd450+supplies for your money....and it will be one of those things that won't disspoint your for at least the next 2 years....until you see something.....like extra features in newer camera....but then again.....features are crap....if we never used them......
Hint: Most people blame quality of camera and return them because they are not familiar with the camera's feature and how its use effective....and they blame it and return it stating that it was not users friendly....if thats the problem....get a disposable camera....sheeesh....
Same with my Canon SD300.....I started to familiarize myself with the camera and its mode....I prefer manual because of control....and I practice shooting at different angles during certain hours of light because it makes a huge differences in shooting those beach shot.....

I don't know whats the best but Kodak's are pretty good. I have the C743. Its a 7.1. Takes pretty good picture, great video quality and you can hook the camera up to your TV for slides shows.
