Had lots of female friends that have dated or currently dating Nigerian men.
All are different, but for the most part - I've heard that they are VERY possessive.
I've heard that they'll help you out in ANY situation and generous.
However, there is a price to that generosity, to whereas it's tough to break up from them.
Can't stereotype, so I won't - but this comes from lots of friends. I would say take your time as you have to invest time learning about their culture and beliefs.

You should be careful dating any one from any country including Nigeria. This nation is the nation of the immigrants so the chances of meeting immigrants are a lot but at the same time you don't have an audit trail to do much investigation on someone who has come from another country. Best is to rely on our own judgment and in that the person's family background, education, mental setup, job history, even his friend- circle all these things can pretty much tell a lot about a person. The key is not to rush into the relationship without a kinda background check. Even the employers do that. Good luck.

Why would you say that? I really dont know much about Nigerian men. They're just sexy-chocholate ( some of them) So I guess Ill just read some of the answers. I hope you find an answer.

Well I have heard that African men are really possessive. My friend was dating an African guy and he was very controlling and hot-tempered. But other than that I haven't heard anything else about them. (And of course this doesn't apply to ALL African men.)
