1.Yourself being aware of it is the first step to controle it.
2. Make up your mind not to get angry unnecessarily.
3. Avoid expressing your anger through words or actions.
4. Anger is a natural instinct but don't use it to dominate and hurt others.
5. Channelise your energy of anger towards doing right things.
6. Practise Yoga especially the breathing control and meditation.
7. Repeat yourself consciously that you will get angry again.
8. Love calmness and solitude and take time to reflect on yourself.
9. Repeat some verse or phrases from your religious scripture.
10. Be happy with everything and with every one. Try to appreciate others and be optimistic towards life.

Whenever you are getting angry, remember that you are an angry person and think that you may talk all rubbish and do wrong things in anger, so with this, you may feel shame and your anger may, to some extent, reduce at that moment. And also I advise you whenever, you are getting anger, immediately, you think that Divine Light is there in your heart.

SANDEEP I too was a short tempered person! But i read in a book.
THE PERSON WHO MAKES YOU ANGRY CONQUERS YOU!!!
I just reflected on this when someone made me angy and now i am able to control my temper!!!
This quote has a bit of psycology in it. No one likes to be conquered . so each time you control your temper you feel you have achieved something great!
