In the days of talking donkeys and talking snakes those things were quite common. I wonder if Aslan was there too.

The bible says that the woman who would later be named "Eve" was thoroughly deceived.
(1 Timothy 2:14) Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived
(Genesis 3:13) Jehovah God said to the woman: “What is this you have done?” To this the woman replied: “The serpent - it deceived me
(Genesis 3:20) After this Adam called his wife’s name Eve
Interestingly, sandwiched between those verses at Genesis 3:15 is an important prophecy for Jesus' day and the near future...

Because he was not a snake before the curse, but an upright creature that was to be a worker for Adam. Gen. 3:14 shows you what God did after the curse.

The world was new back then. Maybe she had never seen a snake before and she thought that it was normal for a snake to talk when she first saw one.

Perhaps this was because She would not have known God by the name of Yahweh, and also because she was much more intelligent than you.
