I'd get the proof then dump him so fast it would make his head spin.

You would have to watch him for a while and get some more evidence. Is this friend trustworthy? Would they be happy if you and your boyfriend broke up? How does your friend know this? Is it based on something they saw once that could be a misunderstanding or is a series of things that in no way could be misleading? Make sure you have the evidence gathered and confront your boyfriend with it. If it's a misunderstanding then he should gladly reassure you and offer a real explanation easily. If he stammers and can't think of anything to say or just tells you to stop being silly, then I'd dump him.

break up is not the solution, why not check about the messing around things, make sure you check on everything about yr friend told you. do some investigation before you jump to any conclusion.

You should definetely go to him with your findings. Note his attitude, facial expressions, body language, and response. Do NOT forget it and do NOT just break up with him. Give him a chance to air his dirty laundry OR tell you that your friend is a lame...

Can you tell when he's lying?

Be open with him and not accusing in your tone. Remember some friends just like to start mess for no reason.

First, I would want to know how my friend knew. If their evidence is good, then I would ask him about it. If I wasn't convinced of his honesty, then I would be doing some personal research to find out more, before I broke up with him.

What do YOU think you should do? You want to spend your time with a cheat? You want to spend your days wondering about his trustworthiness? You want to go through life wondering why you aren't good enough for him? All this will just eat away at your self worth until you feel like a nothing?
Now again, what do you think you should do?

If he is messing around and you ask him about it he will only lie, so give him the boot and make him prove he isn't beg you to come back.

I would ask him first . Sometimes friends lie when they want to break you up , so they can have the boyfriend to themself .

You could let him know what people are saying about him...unless this other friend is just trying to get you to mess around.
