I was a few days older than my 15th birthday. My parent's never had any sex talk with me (that I can remember). If there was any one thing I could go back and change in my life (I am 37 yrs old now) I would go back & undo that & wait until I was more emotionally mature.

I was 16. I never had an official "talk" with my parents, but I always knew i could ask questions if I needed to. School sex ed filled in some of the blanks but a lot I learned on my own

My Parents never had the "sex" talk with, I mostly read about it in books. I had sex when I was 15, just to get it done and over with. I wish I would've waited, it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I didn't love the guy and kind of felt dirty afterward. It would've been different if I'd been in love. Sex is better with someone you're in love with. My Mom knew I was having sex...Mom's always do, so she wasn't surprised when I got pregnant at 19. But on the up side, I'm still with the guy who knocked me up :) and we're deeply in love with a 17 month old baby boy!!

I was 15 when I lost mine and I never had "the talk". The closest thing to "the talk" that I got was my father asking me if I had protection when I was 17 and in a relationship. I guess the either assumed I knew or were uncomfortable bringing it up. To be honest though, I wouldn't have listened. While I was a good kid for the most part, I wanted that very badly and jumped at it the first chance I had.

I was about 10 or 11 when my parents talked to me about sex. I had sex for the first time when I was 16. My hubby never did have the "talk" with his parents and didn't have sex until he was 18. We were both virgins and have only been with each other. Hope this helps.

I was 17 when I first had sex - in the summer of 1988. My parents "talk" consisted of my dad saying "Don't get her pregnant", so my first experience I had to figure it out. I learned most of what I knew back then from school, in sex education class; which really didn't do much justice.
I'd like to know what your study concludes, so let me know how it turns out.

I was 14, and I really wish I would have waited! Parents never had "the talk" with me. I sat my brother down when he was 13 and had the talk with him (may have scared him though, still a virgin at 18).
