I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. My father-in-law also has these problems and only has one kidney and is diabetic. We have put him on these magnetic products and he is doing so much better, we were told he would already be on dialysis, but he is not. I am going to give you a web site where you can look at the stuff, and contact Christine, she is the one that has the site and ask her about being a preferred customer, you get a 10% discount just for being one. She knows a lot about this stuff and can really help you. Hope your fears are eased soon.

Yes, there's a chance your Dad might need another kidney for any one of several reasons. It happens. He could receive another kidney.

There are many reasons for kidney failure, it's not all inherited. Since you don't know the cause for the damage, worrying will not accomplish anything. I would suggest instilling in your child that he/she have regular health check ups, make it a habit, not from the "dire" consequences speech. As an adult, your child will have to make his or her own decisions about his/her health care.

As long as he takes hi medication when he is supposed to and never, ever skip taking it he should do fine.

Just because he had problems with one Kidney does not necessarily mean the other will fail him also.

Take the preventative measures with your child and have a physical done once a year with attention paid to just that.
