if you simply want to lose WEIGHT, then I sugguest you sit in the sauna for about 45min-1hr. you'll probbably lose 10-15lbs of water but will gain it back ounce you drink water.

If you want to lose FAT there is no quick way, its all about how dedicated you are to losing weight. the most healthy way to lose fat is maybe 1lb a week with eating right and excercise, then after while your body will adjust and you will no longer lose weight that easily, that doesnt mean you should stop, it just simply means that your body is adjusting to the changes. most people stop dieting and excercise becuase they are not SEEING results or LOSING weight, dont let that discourage you, dont be another victim, just becuase your not losing weight doesnt mean your are not getting healthier or losing fat. keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat so that could just mean that you gained more muscle.

Now if your Out of shape I suggest you start slow. apply a membership at the local gym. Start by walking on the treadmil, dont push your self too hard. Lift light weights, 10-15lb curling, benching with 10 lbs on each side of the bar (which the Bar is alrdy 45 lbs). Light jogging, swimming. Weight Lifting is the key to MAJOR fat lost. If you can handle it, try lifting heavy weights to build muscle. 1lb of muscle burns about 50 calories an hr. while 1 lb of fat only burns 2 calories an hour. you can do cardio all you want but that only burns short term calories. On top of losing weight you also change your body shape with weight training, you'll look more toned, and that boostes moral when your seeing result with weight traning. And will encourage you to keep on working harder.

Not disciplined enough to go weight traning? doing some martial arts. Muay thai, Brazillan jiu jitsu, kickboxing, boxing. It can be a ton of fun plus those martial art work outs target your entire body so you get a full body workout. plus you might learn a thing or two and show them off to your friends :) Martial Arts build self confidence and discipline, 2 key ingredients to losing weight. the main thing to remember about excercising is just TO HAVE FUN. if your not having fun then your just putting yourself through something your not didicated/motivated about. and while your having fun the workout is much more shoter than it really seems, you know the saying "time flys when your having fun"

Another Key to losing weight is what you eat, Dieting doesnt have to be a Chore, alot of pople think that you cant eat carbs while dieting, thats not true, just eat the RIGHT carbs, like whole grain pasta, whole wheat bread, whole grain rice. Pretty much anything that whole grain/wheat. I know this is hard for people with very little time on there hands but, NO FAST FOOD! thats a big no no, fast food is filled with Fat. the tips that I use is to pack my own lunch, make a sanwhich (or maybe go to subway), maybe some whole grain wheat thins will help my cravings for junk food like chips, my favorite fruit. and when my sweet tooth is bothering me I just get some milk and add some hersy syrup to it. little substitutions like that go a long way.

I did this a year ago and Ive gained 40 lbs of mucle and lost a few inches off my waist. Now im proud of the way I look

Thats all the help I can give you, I wish you luck!

losing weight quickly is a stupid thing to do and it doesn't work.
It won't last and the weight will Always come back.
The healthiest way is to lose the weight steadily over a period of time with healthy eating and active lifestyle. I bet that's not the question you wanted to hear. Some people just want the quick and easy solution, which does NOT exist, and which in many cases is worse for you than just not doing anything.

A healthy, balanced diet (fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc) and exercise is the best way to lose weight (and keep it off!), but you can't expect the pounds to drop overnight. It is a process, one that you need to do every day. Remember, there is no magic bullet, so I would avoid the over-the-counter medications you see in the drug store, as many of them wil cause your heart rate to speed up which may not be safe.

However, in a pinch (i.e., if you have a dress you need to fit into!), there are one-day detox diets, in which you fast with the exception of drinking a special juice. Cleansing your system is thought to jump-start the weight loss. For more information on the one-day detox as well as other, more long-term eating and exercise plans, check out the Diet and Fitness area on the iVillage website: http://www.ivillage.com/stc/sitemap.html
