Squats are good for building the "butt muscles". You might want to search websites for proper form for squats. Typically, you don't want your knees further out than your shoulders. I could never do squats because I couldn't get back up until my daughter, who is a fitness trainer, showed me how to do them properly. Good luck to ya!

Are you exercising right? Are you eating right? Maybe your butt was mostly fat and you are getting to be your natural size? Drink water and eat right and exercise.
