I have been trying really hard to put her on a treadmill or a bike... I bought the most sophisticated state-of-the-art treadmill, but she would not even touch it... What can I do to finally put her on that machine?!!!?!

It's good you're so open about it...

If she doesn't like the treadmill, suggest that you both join a club together for "fun". Karate's made me stick thin, so that's a good one. What about rock climbing or tennis? Of course you've got to be committed to it as well.

I'm guessing she doesn't like the treadmill because it's boring. Once you get the fun into exercise, you don't really think about doing it for any purpose other than enjoyment. Good luck :)

your question sounds really superficial.

instead of wishing her to run her behind off on a treadmill.. if her weight really bothers you.. maybe you can just work really hard at helping her try to eat the right foods..

or, you can be grateful that you are with a nice person, and realize that beauty is much deeper than a couple of pounds..

The reason she is not getting on it, is because you are trying to control the way she looks.

You got with her as a chunky woman, and now you want to change her?
I say it's time to move on before you break this girl down mentally because this type of behaivor will do just that.

If you feel that you would like to be with someone who is thinner, then so be it - end your relationship and find her. But don't push your girlfriend to do something that YOU feel she needs to do.

You'll learn all this as you mature...

maybe she is happy for the way she is and maybe you shoud be happy for her too. if you really care about her then you should x-cept her... there is probly sumtin not perfecta bout you that she doens't like adn instead of trying to change it you should embrace it. I was tought sumtin that may seem cheesy but take a coin and have one side be dump her and the other be accept her then you flip it if you find yourself having the coin be on the side you DON'T want it to be then you will know how you really feel. Try it a few times and find out how you really feel.... it actually works!

Well, for starters, if you really love her it shouldn't matter her weight. especially if it's just a few pounds extra. This society makes it seem as if everyone has to look a certain way. God made us all so we are all beautiful just the way we are, but in different ways. Now as for as health reasons if she is big in that way. then why don't you work out with her. and everything you want her to do, then you do it too that way she doesn't feel alone and emabarresed.

first of all if u really like her for her y are u tring to make her lose weight. maybe she's comfortable with her body and u shouldn't try to get her on the treadmill...now if she was complaining about how she looked and had low self esteem u would be complaining so just let her be females have enough to worry about don't make her feel bad

Why are u concerned about her weight? U should be ashamed of yourself. If she's a nice person then thats all u should care about. Men are so shallow these days. Why didnt you look for a smaller woman in the first place.

Maybe you should look into the mirror and realize that maybe you are not that perfect and that there are imperfections she sees in you too. I mean seriously, are you kidding me? If you truly love someone, forget about those few extra pounds. Im suprised she even puts up with it, honestly!

The best thing to do is to love her as she is. If you can't do that because you are that superficial you need to look for someone to fit your needs and let her go on and be herself. If that is your choice, good luck on finding a lasting relationship based on looks alone.

Forget the machine. Forget trying to control and mold her - that equals relationship disaster. Either accept her or find someone who fits the mold you are looking for.
