So I am having 2 people over my house for the weekend, however I don't have a spare room so they have to sleep on the floor in the living room. I already made sure to have sheets, blankets, extra pillows and towels. But as far as food and stuff i'm thinking to stock up on bagels, cereal, chips and dip, bottled water..

If you can think of some stuff to make their stay more pleasing or just stuff I should do or have, let me know!
Thanks ♥

Fresh fruit, ice cream in the freezer, if your hand soap and shower soap is not liquid, give them their own bars of soap or buy liquids (I never want to use the same bar of soap that somebody else has used). Leave some books, magazine, newspapers - something they can read if they want to - a reading light. Do they drink bottled water? I don't and I would like a cold bottle of seltzer in the fridge, maybe your guests would like soda instead, some cookies or candies if they are dessert lovers.

I learned this one the hard way. If you don't want your expensive shampoo and toiletries to be used, then make sure you hit the dollar story and get something else to put out as guest soap and shampoo. While you are there you can get some nice candles and potato chips and snacks. If you have a Dollar Tree near you that place is awesome. I don't think you should buy all the food there, but a few items like the chips and some cookies are a good idea.

What I do for bottled water at home is I buy the big one that has a spout and it pours out into the cup. I pay less then $3 for the whole thing and it lasts a long time.

If you don't want to do a lot of dishes get plastic cups and utensils and paper plates.

I hope that this and all the other suggestions you got from people helped. If I think of anything else I'll add it on later.

Enjoy!!!

Get a good quality air mattress, for yourself. As for food, find out what they want to do. They are visiting you in New York City, there are a ton of places to eat. For all meals. Bagels, creme cheese, coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, chips and dips, pop, bottled water, pastries are good. But like I said there are so many really good resturants to eat at that they may want to eat out. Do little italy for lunch simply because you will get the same size portion for lunch as you would dinner but pay the lunch price. Do chinatown for dinner because well the portions are huge and inexspensive. Suggest Sunday Brunch for breakfast on Sunday. For pastries go to Ferrari on Mott Street in Little Italy. I know that the weather has been pretty cold so unless you have a warm up try to do things that are inside. Like shopping at macys, bloomingdales, the wax museum. FAO Schwartz and Toys R Us (even for adults they are still fun), take in a show. I just thought of this, get some sandwiches from the carnegie deli for dinner the night they arrive. Good Luck and have fun...

make sure you have some movies to watch, some popcorn for the movies and something to make as a home made meal so you don't have to pay too much money for take out all weekend.
