Rapid movements, twitching, the 6's 8's 9's and 0's on his credit card may have strange powders lodged in them, rolled up paper bills lying around, constant sniffling, red in the eyes, sleeplessness, he may also be tempermental about what seems to be nothing. Yeah, and the sex thing it could go either way he couldbe a complete horndog or mybe not be able to get it up at all.

Is the sex thing the only reason you suspect amphetamines?? I had never heard that before. But if he's lost his drive it could be a couple things. How long have you two been sexually active? I know for the first couple months I"m with a guy I'm nuts and i can't get enough, but after a while when the "new" wears off I don't want it so much.

Another thought is that he's getting it somewhere else.

An amphetamine user may experience a temporary boost in self-confidence and feel far more energetic than usual. It's common for users to talk a lot and they often display a lot of physical activity - repeatedly getting up, walking around etc. - hence the slang terms "speed" and "speeding" for the drug and its use. When under the influence of amphetamines, users find relaxation difficult and sleep impossible. They will have little or no appetite, although amphetamines simply postpone the need for rest and food, they do not replace it.

As amphetamine users tend not to eat or sleep and burn off a lot of energy by physical activity, the body becomes exhausted - both physically and mentally - after a long period of amphetamine use. As a result users often feel fatigued and depressed for a few days after using amphetamines and may also feel irritable, anxious and restless. Other side effects include blurred vision, sleeplessness, and dizziness.

If your boyfriend is using amphetamines, I think your primary concern should be of the potential dangers, regarding these drugs. Amphetamines have a tremendous potential for abuse because of their effects on consciousness and behavior. Amphetamines are stimulants that initially produce "rushes" of euphoria often followed by sudden "crashes" and sometimes, severe depression.Habitual use of these drugs can lead to delusions, hallucinations, paranoia, and aggressive violent behavior. If you see any behavioral changes in your boyfriend, such as the above mentioned, I would seriously speak to him, and suggest he seek help. Be supportive, for he will need your help.

I'm not sure what the details are, but there is a real disorder called "Amphetamine-induced sexual dysfunction."
However, it might be better if you just ask him if he's using drugs and not try to figure out what kind of drugs they are. I'm not sure why that should make any difference.

You can tell, if he is more talkative and agreeable than usual or if he is doing anything thats not his character. If you suspect he is doing speed he probably is. And yes alot of people that take that stuff tend to get kinky and want to have threesomes. Also he might last longer than usual.

Ask him.

Really. Asking him in a non-accusative way should get you the answer. If he gets angry at you for even asking (especially if you ask in a non-accusatory way), then you might want to reconsider if he's the one for you.

Will sex drive change? Could.
