Put some double-sided tape on the corners; Or apply anything your cat doesn't like to eat- which sounds gross, but you should only need to do it for a few days before she gets the idea. You can also keep a spray bottle of water handy- that's how I got my cat to stop chewing the couch.
Cute name, by the way- Now I need to get a new cat to name Cabernet ;-)

we used a cut chili, rubbed it on to the window latch and the cats soon stopped chewing it. Just a very little amount will work, or you could try garlic as well, but then do you want your lap top to smell of garlic?? Perhaps not, but the chili worked.

Wipe some hot sauce on it If that sounds cruel try rubbing orange peals on it. My cat was using the molding round the window for a scratching post and after wiping orange peals on them she stopped! Let me know if this works with you kitty.

i got an idea. buy an orange and peel it . take the peel and strip it into little pieces. then put it around the laptop corners and you are done. the reason why is because cats hate the smell of orange peels. so, when she smells it she will go away fast! hope the idea works! good luck!

There's this liquid that you can use if you bite your nails. It goes on just like nail polish, except it's invisible and if you try to bite your nails, it tastes terrible. You should get some of that and put it on that corner of your laptop.
As to where you'd obtain some of this, I don't know. Try Google.
