my girlfriend was talking to her ex's cousin(female) and she teased my girlfriend that her cousin is too good for her and thats why they broke up.my girlfriend says becos of what the girl said she's going bac to get him.
i get to know and asks her abt it she says she's kidding and then later a friend of hers calls ne to beg on her behalf.could she really be joking? or she really wants to get him back?

Try turning the tables...would you joke with your GF about one of your ex's? That's at the very least disrespectful. What kind of GF would deliberately do something to cause you to doubt her?
I'd say it's time to trade up to a better GF.

You are going to have to trust your heart on this one. She said she was kidding and if you find out she lied, then you will have to act on your own instincts and values. Sit her down and tell her everything and tell her how much this is bothering you and you just want her to tell the truth. If she really cares about you she will tell you the truth. Look her right in the eye, if she doesn't flinch then she is probably telling the truth, if she looks away then there is something going on. Life is too short to live with regret. I don't know the character of your friend,so I can not say very much about her.If I were you I will not listen to these kind of talks, who cares if she is going to get him,as long as it is not you. You had better things to do than listen to these idle talks,do you?

she could be for real if so then just prove to her that you love her and he doesn't. then if that doesn't work you are doomed. I don't think she is for real and that she is just joking around.
