if your a sportsman then must sees are the only offical nba store in the world, shea stadium, yankee stadium, madison square garden and jets stadium. however, men of the arts may prefer broadway shows, the metropolitan museum of arts and soho, it just depends on your intrests and amount of time. plan before hand as i garuntee you wont have time to cover the list above and see stuff that you visit depending on intrests. if your trying to get a taste of traditional new york life, try taking a trip on the subway, as cheesy as it sounds it allows you to feel like a new yorker, standing among the businessmen, the soccer mums, the couples and the torists really gives you that feeling of being a new yorker. and you must have a picnic on centeral parks great lawn or take a ride on a horse drawn carrige. Unfortunatley, you won't see everything, but what you will see will take your breath away

Whether you will be going to Times Square, Herald Square or the Empire State Building, you will want to leave your bags or luggage behind. If you are not renting a room in a hotel, or checking in late, etc, you can store your bag for $5/bag/day at Rent-A-Locker located at 147 W. 35th Street between 7th Ave and Broadway. their website is www.jsrentalocker.com and their phone number is 212-947-0026. Since 911, most places like Penn Station or the Port Authority do not offer luggage/coat check anymore, and this is a much needed store in Midtown...
