yes, once to jail. I was celebrating getting back to the states from a job overseas. After drinking probably more than i should i went with some friends to another bar. They let me drive since i was the most sober, and almost legal to drive. They had stolen some car earlier and that was what we drove. There was no muffler to speak of, and the cops may have been looking for it anyway. Of course when we got pulled over i had forgot about the small amount of hash I had bought in pakistan. They found that and were so happy that they didnt even attempt to charge me with oui. I spent the weekend in jail since no one would come up with the 100 bucks to bail me out. It sucked. They gave me a 300 fine.

Last November I went to Jail for a speeding ticket in Wyoming. I was driving 108 / 55. Wyoming is one of the few states were speeding is considered a criminal offense (misdemeanor). Jail time is not manditory but apparently the Judge has a histroy of coming down pretty hard on Coloradans. I was there for 2 nights.

Yes. My ex-husband called the police & said I was threatening him with a gun. I wasn't, but I'm in the deep south, so they believed his word against mine. I was in jail for 3 weeks before he reliazed he locked up his pay check. He was later arrested for domestic abuse & was in jail for 5 weeks. Should have been longer, but at least now the police are on my side. And he's in another state & not allowed to contact me.

I've been there literally hundreds of times....
Fortunately it was always taking people there as a policeman, never as a prisoner. I like the view from the front side of the car, not in the back behind the cage..

Yes, a few times in my youth for various reasons. Mostly traffic. Unpaid fines and such. I was a wild one. Took a while for me to calm down and grow up.

I've worked in both. An employee, not an inmate. You wouldn't like it. Be good.
