I have read messages sent from my man to a lady he used to sleep with in the past. I also overheard him a couple of months ago whispering to her on the phone about "how much he misses her". Now, I feel disrespected because I've always left open the option for him to see other women if he feels that's what he wants to do, HE JUST HAS TO BE HONEST WITH ME. Now I don't know how to feel..............He says that he doesn't feel anything for her, but I'm not sure. Should I trust him?

I would NOT trust him. If my fiance told his ex that I would say if you mis her then go back to her. I know it is hurting you cuz I had a boyfriend do that exact same thing to me. He ain't worth it hun.

let me tell you about my expierience and let you decide..I did the same thing you did, leave it open to date other people as long as we keep it honest. I used to pick him up for work every morning and one morning I showed up to another girl answering the door. When questioned he swore she was just an old friend. I was trusting and believed he was telling the truth. The following 2 mornings I found her still there, keep in mind she didn't know he and I were dating. I made the mistake of staying the night at one of my guy friends house, but told him everything that happened,, that we had been drinking and I was to drunk to drive home. He didn't trust me and the girl that was just an old friend that he had no feelings for is his girlfriend

I wouldn't trust him either. Why would you let him see other woman anyway? This seems strange to me. Maybe you should either be exclusive or not and agree to it. Forget about the telling eachother thing this will just get the other person jealous. Do you really want to know, it doenst sound like it to me.

why in the world would you even want to share you man with another woman? you told him its ok to see other people but do you REALLY think he will tell you about it? you left it too wide open to shut now... i wouldn't trust him because you said he was hiding it when he knew he could be honest.. go find another man and keep him all to yourself!

men always like that, whatever they say its not really what they mean. Its alaways have to be another way around. If they say he hated u, meaning more on liking you . But he cant stand your attitude thts all. Why not you ask him about that girl, learn more n let him express out what he think abt that girl too. If he dont like it, then he wont like it, if he keep talking about it, then ask him and keep asking until he tell the truth.

You gave him the option of seeing other women, you have no one to blame but yourself.
BUT, as for trusting him, I don't know. He was only doing what you gave him permission to do. If you wanted him to stay true to you, then perhaps you should not have given him permission to be with other women.
Would he have given you permission to be with other men? I doubt it.

If you have to question someone if you should trust him or not...then you shouldn't. If your questioning the trust in your relationship then you don't trust him already.
