Loose tendons and ligaments. Perhaps some damage in the past? Seek a trained physcial therapist or exercise specialist and get the muscles back in shape. They could be unbalanced. Also the professional can determine if an orthpedic specialist should be consulted.....that wouldn't be a bad start either.

My knee clicks. I have a back back. 4 of my lower
discs are out of whack. This is causing my
syatic(sp?) nerve to pull on my hip and knee cap.
That is what is causing my knee to click. Go see a
doctor as soon as you can. The pain could be from
loss of cartledge around your knee or arthiritis(sp?).

Knee injuries are the toughest to overcome so you really want to get it checked out asap.
Are you experiencing pain? If so check with an orthopedic surgeon.
What is your current level of activity? If you are very active you may want to slow it down a bit.
Remember to always listen to your body--it will tell you when it needs help.
Good luck to you!
