IS it possible for people andf the media to acept over weight ppl??? YA know we all didn't used to looki like this and i try but i can never fond the rigth person to be with b/c i am how the media declares "fat".... a size 0 is not attractrive if it is then guys can go date a lamp post b/c i am tired of trying to please them. Yea i may b fat but i am healthy too. nothing wrong wit dat x-cept no guyz would date me b/c ima big girl. Well who cares... ye i want a bf but i am not going to starve myself for 1. I'm not a skinny mini beanpole either.. and I've managed to find a lot of guys throughout my life that liked me for ME... :-)
I try not to think about it much. I wish that I was smaller.. but I don't OBSESS about it.. Don't try to please other people.. but try to be happy yourself..
It's more important to be a good person.. and when you get older, be a good girlfriend, and a good wife, and a good mom.
In the end.. that's what life is about..
Not fitting into size 0 jeans..

first of all the important thing is that you love yourself and are comfortable with who you are. There are a lot of guys that like heavy women, you have just not met them. Who cares what the media says, you are a good person and deserve to meet and love someone to. I used to be very overweight and I met a wonderful man. Remember, to always be yourself. If you do anything less its not who you really are. Enjoy yourself, be confident and learn to laugh. It doesn't matter what others think as long as you love and care about yourself. Take care Heather

well you are only 16 and school kids are very judgmental
i am 37 and not a size 0 either i am curvey and my love thinks i am the hottest thing around
you will find lots of men like curvey woman
and yes there is a big difference between fat and unhealthy
i can play football, hike ,swim and am always very very active

Times are changing. Plus size models are gorgeous and at lest a size 14. You are in a tough time in your young life. Teens are extremely judgmental. They can also be very shallow. It will get better as you get older. Stay strong and healthy and your natural beauty will shine so bright that no man will be able to resist you.

Not all fat ppl are beatiful if they sit there and not do anything about it if you know you can lose the weight why sit down and watch t.v. and stuff your face when you can be in the gym workin it off when you a nice shaoe (not to skinny and not to fat)healthy lookin you get more attention from boys

it isn't just the media... the media doesn't create reality... it reacts to it...
That being said... "To each his own"
different folks different strokes...
just cliche for people like different things... if you are ok with being what you think is fat... then be happy... and get out and meet people... eventually you will find somebody who likes you for "YOU"... and eventualy you will find somebody who likes "you for you" and you like "them for them"... and whamo... I think that is what your are looking for...
