live life to the fullest, love myself (because you can't love anyone without loving yourself), love my brothers and sisters throughout the world, help people through life, pray and thank God for the good and bad of life, these trials help me learn about life...why would I do this? After all, He gave me this life, why would I put it to waste?

I pray a lot and that helps me feel close to God. But besides praying and going to church, when I am surrounded by nature, that is when I feel truly closest to God. When I see the beauty of everything he created it just warms me from head to toe.

I talk to him. A lot! This is the only thing that makes me "feel close" to God. That's what I do, everyone has their own methods.

I speak to Him often. Acknowledge my sins before Him everyday. Praise Him. Thank HIm. Worship Him. Love Him. Study and read His Word.

- Hear and chant about His holy names, form, qualities and activities in the association of saintly persons (devotees).
- Read the scriptures and follow His commands word by word.
- Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you give away and whatever austerities you perform do it as a sacrifice for Him.
- Tell others about Him
In this way if you make one step towards Him , He will make 10 or 100 towards you. It depends of the quality of your surrender.

Read the scriptures, fast, pray, serve others, listen to good music, pray some more, obey the commandments, etc.

i am muslim,
by talking to him truly from ur heart in the middle of the night (3am-6am) and say "i witness and believe that ur the only God and i worship you alone"
do not say three is good for us, but say to God (what u call the father) owns the heaven and the earths and he is the only one to be worshiped.

I Don't. I don't beleive or feel the need to. Is everyone that insecure that they need something like a god to feel important or to have self-worth?
