I am trying 2007 and i need the space, i want to zip my ms 2003 for now, is there a way to do this? I lost my cd's or I would not worry about it.

Sure, you can just zip the files in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11" directory.

However, you might be playing, at bit, with fire. Links, registry settings, etc. are not going to be handled correctly.

Be prepared for errors.

Oh, and when you install Office 2007, make sure to tell it to install to a new location and not to convert anything, including old settings.

It doesn't work that way. When you install 2007, you are going to clobber some DLL's that go with Office 2003. Just install Office 2007 in a different directory from the one that 2003 lives in now. That should be ok.

WinZip or WinRar will do the trick

i dont think you can zip it..you probably need to uninstall it.
