Chis are a very head strong breed of dog. They have a very fiesty tempermant and tend to act like they are a huge dog in a tiny body.
With proper disipline and training they can be fine around kids cats and other dogs. But it takes time and training and proper socialization to get them that way.

I have a multidog household and two of them are chihuahuas. Its true that chihuahuas can be seen dominating my other dogs but this is outweighed by the fact that they also enjoy the company of the other breeds. I guess its important to socialize them while they are still young

I participate in Chihuahua Rescue and my own dog is a purebred Labrador. Some of the small dogs have really loved her and played real well, others appear indifferent. I'd say it depends on your lab and your chewie... I wouldn't worry; I bet they grow up as best friends

My sister has a Chihuahua and a lab, they along find together.
When we bring down my silky terrier, the chihuahua gets along with her too.
I think it depends on the dog, not the breed

Chihuahuas are not like that, but they can be dominent. If they grow up with another dog when they are young, they may or may not like that dog, especially if it gives it alot of trouble and shows agression towards the puppy. My chihuahua grew up fine with my german shepard and she ran and played with her,and they got along great.

I don't know who "they" are. I know several people who have Chihuahuas with other non-Chihuahuas and they all get along just fine.

I don't think so...Chihuahuas just think they're tough so they get a little fisty at times. He might be the dominate one, but i doubt he'll hate him
