how will you know if your being audited?
I already filed my income tax and also recieved my refunds..

You would be notified by mail. The IRS would send you a letter, requesting information concerning your return. You would have to normally respond within 30 days of the notice.
If you receive a notice, respond to it right away, or call the phone number on your notice to get the issue cleared up quickly

The IRS will contact you if you are the subject of an audit. That can come any time up to 3 years following the due date of the return.
